Perhaps the question should be -what do you want to learn ?

When you know what you want to gain you have already set into effect a chain of events that will lead you there if you have the determination to try.

Many of our Instructors have learned other Martial Arts and taken part in many Seminars and courses which has led us to changing our name of what we do to Flowing Water so that we can always change and adapt without being tied to set way or one style .

Some of the systems we have in our School are Kick Boxing, Western Boxing, Wing Chun,Tai Chi, Hsing I, Bagua, Grappling, Karate, Ju-Jitsu,Judo, Kali, Jeet Kune Do,Silat, Hobud,Panantukan, Capoeira. Phew! Can I stop now?

As you can see what we have gives a person the chance of taking something and adapting it to their own way of moving, thinking or even reacting.

Of course we would much rather a person walk away than fight but sometimes there is no other way or a person may not have a choice and may have to react or rely on instintive reaction (sorry there is not enough room on this site to explain the phychological defences or pre-emptive reactionary fighting).Of course Martial Arts starts with the conquering of others but ends in the conquering of ourselves.

We like to add life skills into our Childrens lessons such as: Road Safety, drug awareness, stranger danger, fire drills, respect, our part within a family, planning a route, how to avoid trouble. We also encourage helpfulness in the home by giving awards for tidying their bedroom, doing chores and even doing homework without being asked !
