* Easter contest: Well done to all the children who too part in the Easter contest and came up with some fantasticly colourfully decorated dragons. I am sure there was a lot of time spent doing these and a lot of patience indeed. The Easter eggs won by all taking part where very well earned! Great work everyone.
* The Junior and Adults Gradings are now being arranged for July 2010-TBA

* The 2010 Eva Heeks memorial walk date has been set for the 29th June and will set off from Derian House Chorley at 10.30 am along the canal to Blackburn for the 11 mile route. Please register with me to get your sponsor form and as many people know we very often do this in fancy dress and is really fun day but also your chance to see the hospice which helps so many seriously sick or terminally ill children in the North of England from Birminham up to Newcastle! * I have just put forward all the Instructors and Coaches for a Volunteering award from the local Authority so fingers crossed on this and we have been asked to provide a taster session in the summer hols for the Youth Association which we have agreed to and will take place in Blackburn Town centre as part of the Boroughs summer Scheme for Children.
